Antik Batik

Travel is a long-term passion of Gabriella Cortese. Italian by birth and Parisian by adoption, she has covered all five continents throughout her travels.



Whilst in Bali, Gabriella discovered Batik, the ancient craft of printing onto fabric. Inspired, she took on this skill designing prints and matching colors with a variety of styles, which she marketed on her return to France in 1992, where Antik Batik’s foundations were laid.



Today, much more than a fashion label, Antik Batik is an emblem of the French “Bourgeois- Boheme” lifestyle.
